Yikes! Kites!
It would have been easier for Weston Smith to go to a toy store if he wanted a kite, but where would be the fun in that?
The local 9-year-old, along with his older sister and what seemed like an entire elementary school, spent at least an hour under a picnic ramada at Foxglenn Park Saturday piecing together diamond-shaped kites out of tissue paper, dental floss, lightweight sticks, and yards of Scotch tape.
